Wellbeing Van Supports Officers On Unity Tour

South Yorkshire Police Federation Reps have supported officers who cycled in the 12th UK Police Unity Tour to the COPS Service of Remembrance on 28 July.

The officers cycled from South Yorkshire to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire and attended the COPS Service of Remembrance alongside chief officers from every force.

South Yorkshire Police Federation Chair Steve Kent said: “The Federation was proud to support our colleagues who were cycling in the Unity Tour. Our Secretary Dave Baines and another Rep were there with the wellbeing van all weekend.

“This is about supporting the families and friends of officers who have died and taking that time to remember them. The feedback I get from the event is that it was absolutely fantastic, it’s something that people appreciate and really recognise.”
