Supporting The Police Unity Tour

South Yorkshire Police Federation Reps were honoured to support riders in the Police Unity Tour.

More than 500 cyclists rode from across the country in memory of fallen officers, arriving at the National Memorial Arboretum on Sunday 3 August, before attending the Care of Police Survivors (COPS) Annual Service of Remembrance. The cyclists raised over £230,000 for the COPS charity.

Three South Yorkshire Police Federation Reps supported riders in the Unity Tour: the Deputy Chair, Jon Revill, and Reps Aliya Khan and Darren Kimberley.

South Yorkshire Police Federation Chair Steve Kent said: “It was hard work, but they absolutely loved the experience, especially speaking to the families of our fallen officers – it was a very humbling, but positive experience. Our officers who were riding in the Unity Tour thanked us for being there, and South Yorkshire Police Federation is really pleased to support such a worthy cause.”
