Free fatigue assessment for Federation members
ALL South Yorkshire Police officers have been offered a free fatigue assessment in a bid to help them deal with the effects of tiredness.
South Yorkshire Police Federation has offered the confidential service which will examine officers’ life and work habits and then offer solutions to fatigue problems.
See below/click here for more details.
Jim Lucas, federation secretary, said: “We will provide you with information to help you make, often small, changes to improve your sleep and personal energy during the day. As a result you will be able to make a better contribution in your family life, work life and social life.
“The assessment will be online and available on your computer, mobile and tablet allowing you to complete it at a convenient time that suits you.
“It will take roughly 10 minutes to complete. No individual data will be shared with anyone in the force. We will use the composite data to benchmark against other forces and to make suggestions for “workable solutions” to address any recurring issues.”
“We have had a great response so far”, Mr Lucas added.
If you would like to join the free scheme, email [email protected] with the subject line “Fatigue assessment – South Yorkshire” stating your first name, surname and job role.
All applicants will receive an email with registration details to complete the assessment at the beginning of September. The survey will then go live on the 8th September.
