Congratulations To Our National Bravery Nominee

Congratulations again to PC Jess Witton, who was South Yorkshire’s nominee for the National Police Bravery Awards in July.

Jess was nominated after winning the South Yorkshire Police Federation Bravery Awards for single-handedly confronting an armed killer.

Federation Chair Steve Kent said: “It was an absolute honour and pleasure to accompany Jess down to London.

“It was really nice to look after officers, to pamper them a little bit. It’s quite right that we celebrate our heroes and Jess and her partner thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

“We look forward to doing this again next year, but I am really pleased for Jess and congratulate her again for what she did.”
