South Yorkshire’s team at Police Federation conference
SOUTH Yorkshire Police Federation’s team travelled to the Police Federation of England and Wales’ Annual Conference. The new-look two-day conference had the theme of ‘Protect the Protectors’.
It took place in Birmingham and heard from politicians including Home Secretary Amber Rudd, Police Minister Brandon Lewis, Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott and former Home Affairs Select Committee Chair Yvette Cooper.
Delegates attended sessions on a number of issues; including mental health, roads policing and firearms.
