Fresh Energy On Federation Branch Board

AS the South Yorkshire Police Federation Branch Board elections conclude, Chair Steve Kent said that there was a lot of fresh energy on the new board.

He said: “We’ve got Reps coming through the door who are really keen to get trained, and really keen to get stuck into helping officers out there, whether it be in discipline, equality or health and safety.

“We’ve got a lot of fresh energy on our branch board at the moment, which is really great to see.

“What I’m looking forward to, if I’m reelected, is building on the successes that we’ve had over the past three years as a branch. We’ve fundamentally changed, we’ve become much more ambitious, much more proactive and we just need to keep up that momentum.”
